The Mall of America:

Como Park

The park’s annual Holiday Lights celebration features over two million lights, making it one of the largest light displays in the state. The display is open nightly from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, and visitors can take a leisurely stroll or ride on a horse-drawn wagon to take in all the sights.

In addition to the lights, Como Park offers ice skating at its outdoor rink. Skaters of all ages and abilities are welcome, and there’s even a heated shelter where you can warm up with hot cocoa or roasted marshmallows. The rink is open daily from mid-November through early March.

Some of the must-see attractions at Landmark Center during Christmas time include the Holiday Concert Series, which features free performances by local and regional choirs; the Gingerbread House Competition & Exhibit, where you can see some of the most intricately decorated gingerbread houses; and Santa’s Workshop, where kids can make their own holiday crafts. This year, they will be hosting a Old-Fashioned Holiday Bazaar, which is sure to get you in the Christmas Spirit.

U.S. Bank Stadium

U.S. Bank Stadium is a world-class venue that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. During the holiday season, the stadium transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with an outdoor ice skating rink, Santa’s workshop, and a festive market. Skaters of all ages can enjoy gliding around the rink while taking in views of the Minneapolis skyline. Santa’s workshop is a great place to take photos with Santa and his elves, and shoppers can find unique gifts at the holiday market.

MINNEAPOLIS HOLIDAZZLE

Minneapolis is home to a variety of holiday-themed activities, from the ever-popular Holidazzle celebration to ice skating at one of the city’s many outdoor rinks. No matter what your interests are, there’s sure to be something for you to enjoy in Minneapolis during the holiday season!
