Why should I choose Giliane E. Mansfeldt Photography as my photographer?

We offer unique portrait packages, artistic images, and affordable price packages. There are no hidden fees in our prices; you will receive everything listed in the package with stress-free portrait sessions. Our client testimonials speak for our integrity and quality of work. Do you offer weekend appointments?

You Bet!  We know that families can be busy during the week and dont want to rush to a photoshoot after school or work.  We do not charge extra for weekends either!  If you do want a weekend, make sure to inquiry early as they tend to go fast!
 

Do you offer Digitals?

All of my packages are “All-Inclusive” which means each package comes with digitals. They are apart of the package price. The digitals are delivered to you through a download for fastest delivery of your images.

 

Do you edit all of your photos?

Yes, every single photo that you will view are professionally edited, one by one, and by hand.
 
 

How long have you been a photographer?

A long time! I started about 15 years ago and have loved every minute of it. I started on film and transitioned about to digital when it was all the craze.
 

How would you define your style?

The photography style is influenced and rooted from film production. It is all about light and texture of film, how creative lighting plays and contrasts with the subject. From film to digital production, we continue to reinvent ourselves for a better service to our clients. 

Do you have a studio?

Yes, I do have a commercial portrait studio located in Saint Paul, MN. There is parking lot attached to the location with free parking.  My studio is in a NYC loft style, brick and timber studio located in a trendy commercial building which offers many options for backgrounds during your photo session. 

What is included with my package fee?

The package fee covers everything that is listed in the package.

 

Each fee covers the session fee, the time and talent of the photographer, standard editing, digitals and if your package includes prints the fee covers that as well.

 

There are no hidden fees and you receive every single item in the package for the one package price

Are the edits on the photos of professional quality?

Each and every photo that you will see in your proofing gallery will be edited. The edits preformed are done creatively and edited masterly. We do our own edits and are carefully retouched by our post production team. We ensure the quality of the photos produced is of high quality. what is a non-refundable retainer fee?

Upon booking, a non refundable retainer fee is required to reserve your session date. Please read more about retainer fee from our studio policy page.

What payment options do you accept?

Payments accepted are cash, check, credit cards, or through PayPal.

Do you offer a promotional discount for packages?

Yes, we do have promotional discount on selected packages. Please join our mailing list for exclusive updates on our special offers and discounts. We also offer discount for returning clients.  Click here to Join our List.
 

Is there a charge if I request an extra hour during a photoshoot?

We will require an extra charge of $100 per hour.  Newborn photoshoots do not follow this policy. 
 
 

what is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel 48 in advance before your booking session date. Failure to meet the specified hours means forfeiture of the retainer fee.
 

Can I book through your social media channels?

We prefer to book our sessions through email or phone correspondence. Our social media accounts help us connect with our clients and share our studio updates. However, we will not say no to booking through social media accounts.

Can I bring my own props?

Yes, you are allowed to bring props you like to include in the photo shoot. We require that you speak with the photographer before the shoot so we have time to plan the shoot accordingly. Props need to be approved by the studio so that the props meet the safety standard required by the studio.
 
 

I cannot log into my client portal?

This might be an isolated case, but if it happens, you can contact our live support and we will immediately work on the technical issue.
